Documentary, fiction and making-of intertwine in this associative tale about a violent incident in a medium-sized village. Two men are beaten up by a group of youngsters– for their sexual orientation, it soon turns out. But why do they refuse to report the crime? That the conservative church community in the village plays a role becomes clear when the filmmaker, based on interviews and reconstructions, tries to find out what actually happened.
