Eighteen years ago, Wim had a stroke. Since then, he suffers from the locked-in-syndrome, which means he can’t speak and can hardly move. He has been living at home for years now, where his wife takes care of him full-time. To allow their mother to go away for the weekend, the three sons Will, Edwin and Bram take over the full care of their father. For the first time in years, the four men fall back on each other for a whole weekend. A candid and warm testimony of big dilemmas and unconditional love. Made within the scope of Doc25.
