Tragicomedy about a successful publicity agent and the midlife crisis phenomenon. When Freek decides to get away from it all with his young lover, he discovers he is less successful than he had thought.

Publicity agent Freek has a beautiful wife, a son and success in his work, but he is not satisfied. An escape with his young lover Alberta to the eponymous place in Canada should be the remedy. Unfortunately, Alberta soon gets bored in the small cabin in the woods. In his wildest dreams, Freek could never have foreseen the tragicomic and ever more grotesque developments that ensue, with alternating people getting involved. His midlife crisis turns into a nerve-wracking spectacle.
