To the tones of Symphony no. 8 Unvollendete by Franz Schubert, director Oerd van Cuijlenborg made a fourteen-minute abstract animated film with the starting point: 'What do you see if you listen to this music with your eyes closed?' Van Cuijlenborg's multicoloured images are primarily inspired by nature, so associations with submergence, thunderbolts and the glittering of the sun thrust themselves on us.
