Episode from a series of eight quasi-realistic television documentaries in which actor Arjen Ederveen inimitably imitates and dissects the genre of sensational reports about bizarre subjects. In Vanwege Maartje (Because of Maartje) he plays an elderly female politician who at last sees a chance of sitting in the chair she most cherishes, namely as guest in a late-night TV news show.
