The NFF Fellowships Programme supports mid-career makers and collectives in exploring new technologies, themes, and collaborations. This year’s Fellows dive into research on topics such as computer vision, 3D animation, and synthetic datasets, while also engaging with questions around queerness, the decolonisation of technology, and the tension between sensory experience and rational systems. Expect thought-provoking insights, new perspectives, and surprising forms. Afterwards, the new Fellows for 2025-2026 will be introduced: Luna Maurer, Nirit Peled and Matthew C. Wilson.
The morning will conclude with the festive announcement of the nominations for the Golden Calf for Best Digital Culture Production.
In collaboration with Gieskes-Strijbis Fund, Utrecht University – Creative Humanities Academy, and the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision.
