Dag van de Korte Film

Short Film Day is celebrated on December 21, the shortest day of the year. With a special film programme, Eye Filmmuseum, Nederlands Filmfestival and Go Short treat moviegoers to the best homegrown short films.
Short films are exciting, versatile and have something to offer for everyone. It is also the medium through which young film talent presents itself for the first time. Yet short films often get little time on the silver screen. To draw more attention to short films, we have been celebrating Short Film Day for a few years now, on the shortest day of the year, both in the Netherlands and in various European countries.

See below for the films included in this year’s programme.

Screening times may vary by cinema.
