Documentary about illegally working immigrants, as seen through the eyes of the nine-year-old Nigerian Esther. The film is set in Beirut, where many immigrants from Asia and Africa try to keep afloat. Like Esther’s parents, who are always on the go and have to leave their daughter behind. In Esther’s solitary observation of the city, all foreign passers-by are reflections of the parents she misses so badly.
