Joop Geesink

Joop Geesink (1913-1984) started his career as a set designer and became world-famous through his doll films, made in his studo Dollywood. His films were awarded both in the Netherlands and abroad. In the Netherlands Geesink is most known as designer of Loeki the Lion, which for over 30 years was mascot of the commercial broadcasting station STER.
