Short informative film looking at the activities involved in restoring and conserving old films at the Netherlands Film Museum. Using as an example the restoration of Meyer aus Berlin by Ernst Lubitsch from 1918, the film shows the often time-consuming and complex actions needed to make the best possible copy from a film that is ofen is a very bad state.
