Forensic investigator Natascha tries to dismiss the things she sees during work through her model-making hobby. But gradually we see how even there she starts reconstructing crime scenes.
For seventeen years, Natascha has been working at the forensic investigation team in Rotterdam, looking with colleagues for suspect traces on crime scenes. She finds it a great and constructive profession, but she inevitably sees horrific details as well and death is always close. It came definitely close when a colleague and friend committed suicide. To deal with this blow, she once took up model making and created dioramas, which grew into a serious hobby. Still, here too her work comes into play; she reconstructs crime scenes. Including detectives in white suits, traces and victims. The finishing touch: a two-centimetre-tall 3D replica of herself.
