In the late 1920s, the city council of Utrecht commissioned film factory Polygoon to make a film about the city of Utrecht. In the silent movie, the beauty of the city is extensively illustrated: it pays attention to the cathedral tower, the canals, moats and parks, but modern housing projects are also addressed. A series of Utrecht companies also passes by and we make a tour on the canals and hop on a streetcar.
