In four minutes, suspense is built up for the myth of Tokkeloshe. It is forbidden to mention this name on the plains of Africa. The fear of the name lies in the eyes of passers-by, in the dog's jittery movements and in the chickens that fly in all directions. To the swelling explanation by an elderly woman, the camera follows the increasingly frightened villagers and their animals, until a door falls shut as the climax, and than that name.
