Tagged is a group portrait of immigrant boys who create security by using extreme dress codes. When turning their well-trained torsos in front of the mirror and giving comments, the boys wear their hearts on their sleeves. They speculate about the effects on women and compare the price labels on their T-shirts and scents with their paltry income. Rudelius treats the subject matter in an open-minded and committed fashion. Looking at their fellow human beings with fascination, she aims the camera at isolated aspects of group behaviour and makes the images reveal a more general meaning.
