Johan and his father toil in silence. Their life grinds to a halt when Johan’s mother dies. Johan dreams of a different life. His father does what he can to improve the one he has, but nothing seems to work. Then, he gets a radical idea. Adaptation of Johan Everaers' story Vloekbeesten, which is part of the collection of stories Zondig in Zeeland.
