A woman runs in the street in black-and-white. We hear her panting breath. This scene is repeatedly interrupted by colour images of a group of men or women, gathered as a tableau against a black background. Images, inspired by Dutch paintings from the sixteenth and seventeenth century. After these contemplative compositions, we always return to the running woman, who eventually also appears in colour.
