Fifteen-year-old Jurre looks like a normal Frisian teenager, but he struggles with the fact that his father Tom is suffering from Alzheimer’s while still young. Tom will not only become increasingly forgetful, but also impassive. As a consequence, he lives in a nursing home for part of the week. In this youth documentary, Jurre decides to take his father on a trip to Vlieland; he misses being with his dad. He takes the responsibility this automatically involves for him for granted.
