A film operator just wants to do his job, smoke a cigarette now and then and be left alone. But then he gets a very special assignment.
Short film that is almost entirely set in the room where cinemagoers never tread: the projection booth. Here, the operator is the lord of his hidden domain. While the projector rattles away, he contently rolls and smokes a cigarette and wants to be left alone. The telephone only serves to give him the signal to start the film. But then it suddenly rings during a screening and the operator gets a special assignment.
