As Mother Earth tries to rid herself of the humans making her sick, a girl (Jessica Reynolds) is found in the forest. Raised among wolves, she's been stripped of almost every human trait. In this dark modern fairy tale, she must learn what it means to be human from scratch. But everyone projects their own narrative onto her — from the researchers studying her in the lab, to the activist couple who 'liberate' her. This visually striking film by David Verbeek asks what it truly means to be human, in a world we're destroying with our own hands.
