When two sisters are forced to return to their childhood home, the old battle for their mother's attention flares up once more. As old wounds reopen, they uncover fascinating mysteries, including their mother's love for a donkey.
Sisters Anna and Charlotte have spent their whole lives competing for their mother's attention. When she needs more care, they return to the family home, where old tensions and unresolved feelings resurface. At the same time, the mysteries pile up: an enigmatic urn of ashes, their mother's unusual bond with a donkey, and long-buried family secrets. A relatable family drama unfolds into an absurdist and moving tale about love, grief, and sisters trying to find their way back to each other.
