Criminal lawyers Klaartje Freeke and Wikke Monster encourage their clients to reflect not only on guilt and punishment, but also on the (emotional) impact of what has happened. Rather than placing primary focus on legal rules and sentences, this duo prioritizes compassion and a personal, sustainable approach. They do this by addressing the pain and suffering people cause one another, and by giving the often deep and complex concomitant emotions a place within legal proceedings.
