What if you receive an announcement that you only have forty minutes before a nuclear missile will strike? Do you immediately take refuge in an air-raid shelter or do you resign to your fate? In the tradition of foreign disaster movies, this debut forces viewers to reflect on these questions. NL-Alert follows three protagonists making their way through a city in panic: a young mother looking for her baby, a young squabbling couple who want to take shelter and a group of PT employees who have to decide on life and death.
