Andrea finds freedom in ketchup – but risks everything in the process. Is this worth it? An absurdist short comedy about social expectations and the longing to be yourself.
Protagonist Andrea guards a big secret. Within the safe walls of her home, she rubs herself with ketchup – an ecstatic and intimate ritual that colleagues must never discover. But when one day she is confronted with the red condiment at work, she can no longer resist the urge. This exposure brings her to an unexpected place, where Andrea and a figure from her past cross paths: Tobi, her ex-manager, in whom the echo of the ketchup incident reverberates for years. This debut ponders the question what is socially acceptable – and where.
