Winemakers Natia and Archil live on the edge of a village in Georgia. As they tend to their vineyards, we see how Georgia's Russian past still shapes their everyday lives.
Georgia has an age-old wine culture, though this tradition was heavily influenced by the communist system during the Soviet era. Even today, Russia remains a tangible presence in Georgian politics, economy and culture. This graduation documentary shows how major political developments aren't just visible in history books or the news, but also in the lives of people far removed from political power, including Natia and Archil, two winemakers, each shaped by history in their own way.
