When unprocessed trauma resurfaces, restless Maya is forced to confront her downward spiral of desire and fear. In this experimental dance film, victim, perpetrator, reality and fiction blur together.
During an intimate evening with three lovers, Maya is swept into a series of physical encounters that grow increasingly intense. What begins as curiosity and bodily exploration turns into a hypnotic choreography in which desire, control and memory intertwine. As surreal imagery and raw physicality reinforce one another, the space transforms into a psychotic-looking landscape that confronts Maya with the abuse from her past. NOSEBLEED is a semi-autobiographical debut film about identity, trauma and surrender.
