Holland Film Meeting

The Holland Film Meeting is the international heartbeat of the Netherlands Film Festival. It aims to stimulate a high level of co-production activity between leading representatives from the Dutch, European and global finance, production, sales and distribution industries. Since its inception in 1988, the Holland Film Meeting has established itself as one of Europe's key stopping-off points for the finance of big quality independent cinema. The Holland Film Meeting features the HFM Co-Pro Platform, Work-in-Progress session, the BoostNL programme (with IFFR's CineMart), professional workshops, panels and conferences.

The Holland Film Meeting Co-Pro Platform selection comprises a selection of brilliant, challenging and thought-provoking film projects, all ripe for co-production, ready to be presented to some of international cinema's most important and influential financiers, distributors, sales agents and co-producers.

The Programme Overview can be found here.

HFM
CO-PRO PLATFORM

The aim of the HFM Co-Pro Platform is to encourage co-production collaboration between European countries. European feature-length films suitable for co-production, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes, and with local financial support in place, are eligible for selection.

BOOSTNL

BoostNL is a collaborative project between International Film Festival Rotterdam's CineMart and the Holland Film Meeting of the Netherlands Film Festival. This initiative is designed to strengthen market assistance for international projects that have already received support from the Hubert Bals Fund or have previously been presented at CineMart, as well as Dutch projects in development.

HFM
WORK-IN-PROGRESS

The HFM Works-in-Progress (WiP) Session has the aim of uniting the makers of soon-to-be-completed films with select industry professionals in order to boost networking possibilities and to encourage good commercial and non-commercial distribution strategies.
