Tickets

Tickets for films and other NFF events can be ordered online. Tickets can also be bought during the festival at the main box office at the Festival Heart and at the box offices of the relevant theatres.


What is the price of a ticket?

Regular film screenings
  • Normal: €10
  • Student/CJP/NFF Friend: €7,50
  • U-Pass: €6,30 (only available at the box offices during the festival)
  • Cineville: free (only valid at ’t Hoogt and Louis Hartlooper Complex, during the festival at the box offices, from 4 hours before the start)
Public premières
  • Normal: €12,50
  • Holders of Day Pass, Passe-Partout, Talent- en Professionalspass: €2,50

I would like to order tickets online. How does it work?

Via filmfestival.nl/en/programme, you can buy tickets in four quick-and-easy steps:

  1. Create a personal ‘My NFF’ account;
  2. Select desired tickets;
  3. Pay directly and safely online;
  4. You will receive your e-ticket by email. Bring it to the screening.
How do I receive my e-ticket?

When you buy a ticket online, you receive a ticket by email, which you can also find in your My NFF account. You can present your ticket on your smartphone or tablet or print it and bring it. Do you have a Student or U Pass? In this case, your ticket(s) does not have a barcode. Please go to the box office, where you will get your ticket(s) after presenting your Pass.

Where else can I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets at the NFF box offices at the different festival locations.

What are the opening hours of the box offices?

The main box office is located at the NFF Festival Heart in the Winkel van Sinkel. During the festival, from 27 September to 4 October, this is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. The box offices at the different festival locations are open from 30 minutes before the start of the first screening to 15 minutes after the start of the last screening. Please note! You can only pay with PIN at NFF box offices.

Can I return my tickets after purchase?

Purchased tickets cannot be returned.

Which passes give me a discount at the NFF?

During the NFF, if you have a CJP, U or Student Pass (MBO/HBO/WO with picture), you can go to all screenings and events at the reduced price of € 7.50 instead of the regular €10.-.

Is my Cineville Pass valid at the NFF?

Your Cineville Pass is valid for all Cineville-affiliated movie theatres in Utrecht. With your Cineville Pass, you can attend all regular screenings at the Louis Hartlooper Complex and ’t Hoogt. Cinevillers can pick up tickets at the LHC or ‘t Hoogt from 240 minutes before the start. You can also reserve your tickets online from one day before the screening.


What is My NFF?

In My NFF, you create a personal account. With this My NFF account, you can buy your e-tickets and mark your favourites. Plus, your pass is put on your My NFF account.

I have lost the password of my account. What do I do now?

Go to My NFF to log in. In the bottom right corner, click on ‘forgot password’ and enter your email address to request a new password. Next, you will receive an email with your new password.
