What would mourning look like if it assumed a physical shape? An old hunter confronts it: He cannot and will not simply accept his wife’s death.
An old hunter who takes care of his wife on her deathbed finds it hard to accept her approaching death. But when he goes into the woods one day, he can no longer evade the confrontation. In the dialogue-less, equally subdued and dramatic film, mourning takes on all kinds of shapes – from a black cloud that wants to surround and swallow you to a mountain of rocks. The hunter frantically confronts it.
