The merrily recited horror nonsense of Lewis Carroll’s famous poem is done full justice in this animation about a brave kid who faces a monster all by himself.
The poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll – chiefly known for Alice in Wonderland – largely consists of nonsensical words, but nevertheless the tenor of the story is clear. A father warns his son for a creepy monster, the Jabberwock. However, the boy shows no fear ad confronts the ogre. This equally lively and comic animation visualises the poem, recited by Jack Cutmore-Scott, using a visually peculiar interpretation of the nonsense verses.
