In his investigation into the 'Deventer murder case', TV journalist Bas Haan shifts more and more towards the camp of those who accuse 'the handyman' of murder. The result is a witch hunt in the media, changing the lives of this suspect and his wife into a living nightmare. When Bas tries to dispute the conspiracy theories with facts, he is frustrated to see that representation is stronger than the truth. Was someone unjustly convicted or do we have an innocent victim?
