The HFM Market days take place during the NFF Professionals Programme, at the end of September.
In 2023 the HFM Days will be from Friday through Sunday, September 22nd - 24th. The three days for invited-only industry professionals will consist of pitch presentations of our projects in the selection, one-to-one meetings (online and on-site) and the final awards ceremony for all the projects, with attractive prizes both in cash and in-kind. Participants of the HFM Days also have the opportunity to take part in other programmes from the NFF Professionals Programme, as well as watch the latest Dutch films in our competition with English subtitles, through our Digital Film Library.
Previous editions of HFM have included the expertise and inspiration of renowned professionals such as Julia Solomonoff (film director, Argentina/USA), Paul Tyler (story consultant, UK/Denmark), Susan Korda (editor, USA), Mathias Noschis (Alphapanda, Germany), Debbie Rowland (We Are The Tonic, UK), Jane Tattersall (sound designer, Canada), Roger Neill (film composer, USA), Constanza Arena (CinemaChile) and Adrienne Weiss (directing actors coach, USA) amongst others.
