Gerard Soeteman (1936) is scriptwriter. Many of the films written by him and directed by for example Paul Verhoeven and Fons Rademakers were awarded both nationally and internationally. In 1989 Soeteman was awarded the Golden Calf in the Professional Category: Scenario and in 2017 the Golden Calf for the Film Culture.
