The Interactive program consists of talks, master classes and the NFF Interactive Expo: a selection of the ten most interesting Dutch interactive productions of the year. During NFF 2020, these ten productions were on display at IMPAKT, centre for media culture, AG, Space for new art and media and Kinepolis Jaarbeurs.
During the NFF Interactive Golden Calf Evening, the creators of the selected works explained to the audience and to moderator Dan Hassler-Forest what their projects are made of, and what was involved in realising them. Next to the competition, interactive fans were able to enjoy many interactive works during Bring Your Own Beamer at the Nicolaï Church.
All 10 of them great and interactive. The candidates for the 2019 Golden Calf for Best Interactive can be seen (and played, experienced and admired) once-only at an exhibition free of charge.
Ten selected projects, ranging from masterly samples of web design and narrative experiments to virtual documentaries and animated web comics. The candidates are not made for the big silver screen, but this evening they are presented on one. In ten minutes, the selected creators explain to the audience and to moderator Dan Hassler-Forest what their projects are made of, and what was involved in realising them.
Lights out, beamers on for the largest one-night-exhibition in the Netherlands, organised by the HKU. More than 80 artists and creators beam their works on the walls, ceilings, canvasses and windows of the Nicolaï Church.
