Tamara Shogaolu selected for the Latinx Inclu­sion Fellow­ship Series

Tamara Shogaolu — winner of the HFM Works-in-Progress Award and Golden Calf nominee in 2019 — is selected for the Latinx Inclu­sion Fellow­ship Series by the Los Angeles Latino Inter­na­tional Film Festival (LALIFF). She and four other direc­tors will be mentored by profes­sionals to create a short film, spon­sored by Netflix.

Shogaolu has been selected with Lorena Durán, Justin Floyd, Kase Peña, and Monica Suriyage. They\‘ll each receive a grant of $20.000 to produce a short film, during which they will receive one-on-one coaching and have multiple networking oppor­tu­ni­ties. Tamara Shogaolu won the HFM Works-in-Progress Award for ANOUSCHKA during last NFF. This inter­ac­tive produc­tion is about a magical black girl\‘s journey through space and time.
