The boss of ambitious civil engineer Evi dispatches her to Zeeuws-Vlaanderen for an assignment. Far away from her friends, city life and her boyfriend, a frustrated Evi tries to make the best of it, despite opposition from the single-minded local population. But when she meets the tough skipper Stijn, she discovers that these backwaters have more to offer than vast clay fields. Romantic comedy in which a woman in her thirties struggles with her identity, while finding love at the most unforeseen place.
