Despite clashing characters, aviation pioneers Albert Plesman and Anthony Fokker managed to set up civil aviation in the Netherlands. This adventurous, historical drama series shows how this transpired.
As founders of Dutch aviation, the idealist Albert Plesman and the opportunist Anthony Fokker were inseparable. In the period between the two World Wars, Plesman (KLM founder) and aircraft constructor Fokker managed to establish civil aviation in the Netherlands. This historical drama series takes the First Air Traffic Exhibition Amsterdam in 1919 as the starting point of a story about the cooperation of the two and shows to what extent their characters differed: They could not work with nor without each other.
