For over fifty years, Frans Weisz dreamed about this Campert adaptation. Now it is here. A feel-good movie about love and desire, which playfully brings the 1960s characters to the present.
One lovely spring day, the poet Boelie and his best friend Mees saunter through the Vondel Park, brooding on creative plans. What seems to become a normal day suddenly changes when they meet the cheeky girl Panda and infatuation strikes. Meanwhile, they cross paths with journalist Ernst-Jan, who suspects his wife of adultery and who has his own ideas about how to catch her. And then there are the two former lovers Rosa and Kees, who meet again after a long time, on this remarkable day.
