Charming documentary about old age, in which 94-year-old actor Piet Kamerman shines as the player playing himself. He demonstrates how you can embrace the future at a very old age.
In the subdued light of the Irish country, the aged actor Piet Kamerman (94) has been leading a secluded life for years. His body protests, but this does not keep him from fervently playing the piano and declaiming texts with a powerful voice. Before the camera eye, Piet shines as himself. Sprightly, he embraces old age with his fixed co-stars the radio, the telephone and his cats. This charming, meditative portrait invites the viewer into a rich life in the lowest gear.
