Singer-songwriter Lena writes love songs, but without any form of love in her personal life writer's block looms large. Romantic comedy about inspiration, romance and friendship.
As a single mom, Lena (Plien van Bennekom) earns a living by writing songs about love. But she has not had any romance in her personal life for so long that she is no longer able to write about it. Her best friend, singer Valerie (Carly Wijs), figures out an equally bizarre and effective plan: she rents an actor to seduce Lena and stir up her romantic feelings. Where first there was too little love to write songs about, suddenly there is too much of it. Can Lena still squeeze something out of her pen, now her stomach is so full of butterflies? The friendship with Valerie is at stake.
