For journalist and presenter Clarice Gargard, her father used to be a hero, an idealist. But why did he work for corrupt government leaders such as war criminal Charles Taylor?
In this documentary, journalist Clarice Gargard investigates who her father really is. She always thought he was an idealist, a hero – but this does not tally with his work for corrupt government leaders such as war criminal Charles Taylor. Did he want to serve his country as a patriot or was he only in it for the money, status and power? A story gradually unfolds about good and evil, rebellion and dissolving moral values in times of war. In the process, the question emerges whether Gargard really wants to unearth the truth.
