Dutch photographer abroad is confronted with his own past, present and future in this kaleidoscopic portrait of isolated living in Taipei and Amsterdam. Beautiful, mysterious and meditative.
A photographer (played by David Verbeek himself, a photographer in real life too) takes a picture of a small girl in the nocturnal streets of Taipei. Next, memories of his own childhood start coming back to him more and more. Looking at the picture, he projects his own childhood onto the girl. Meditative narrative in three parts: Taipei, aboard an intercontinental flight and in Amsterdam.
