Closed off from the outside world, a group of youngsters who don’t know each other are put together by the filmmaker for a week. Their origins differ - with Dutch or non-Dutch parents, urban or rural - but their age is the same. What does it mean to these different boys to be eighteen years old? Sincere stories about parents, friendship, alcohol, drugs, sex and aggression are alternated with scenes from a wild night the energetic youngsters on the brink of adulthood experienced together.
