Documentary in which Frans Bromet tries to find out why conflicts play such a big role in his life. The quest leads him to a branch of his family in Israel that was deemed lost.
Why on earth is it that conflicts, large and small, can drag on for so long? In this personal documentary by Frans Bromet, the filmmaker examines what lies at the base of the conflicts that play such a major role in his life. He talks to close relatives and even travels to Israel. A branch of the family that was deemed lost settled there and they, too, ended up in all sorts of conflicts, with each other but also regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. What do unsettled disputes do to a human life and a family?
