Artist Claudy Jongstra works with wool and felt. She has her own sheep herd and makes her own dyes from natural pigments. Her relationship with her surroundings and the environment is essential to her. She is successful, also internationally, but this makes it harder and harder to keep living and working on a small scale and according to her ideals. Director Allard Detiger followed Claudy Jongstra for over a year. In this period, despite a burn-out, Jongstra completed several large commissioned works.
