Being a translator of Russian, the American writer and animator James Boekbinder made several trips across Russia. Those inspired him to make the short animated film The story of the Kolobok. The Kolobok is a loaf of bread that makes a subway trip, passing many cultural monuments from the Soviet era. The loaf whets an unusual appetite.
