In a remote Afghan region, the life stories of a shepherdess, a bird catcher and a mourning teacher get entangled after their school burns down. The young shepherdess takes a huge risk by saving a female American soldier after a helicopter crash, the youthful bird catcher takes cover in an army tank with his birds, and the teacher vows revenge on the person who widowed her. This war drama demonstrates that the battle isn’t over as long as the war wounds are still bleeding.
