One day, a Frisian bicycle repair man receives the unlikely message that he has an Ethiopian half-brother, who is on death row in a prison in Addis Ababa. This bizarre news is the starting point of a disconcerting family history. A documentary about a disowned child who comes to no good and an aged father who after a DNA test can no longer get away from his now adult bastard son. It turns out father and son have more in common than they will ever be ready to admit.
