Documentary about the many years that artist Rob Scholte fought for the preservation of his big dream, the Rob Scholte Museum.
In 1994, Rob Scholte is the most authoritative Dutch artist, when he loses both legs after a bomb explodes under his car. Still, he finishes his life work, before retiring to Den Helder, where he gets the chance to temporarily settle in the vacant main post office. Here he starts the Rob Scholte Museum. When the city reclaims the building and evicts him, a long battle ensues that takes Scholte through a rough patch. He keeps going to court. One day he will return to his museum, he believes.
