Modderdans

Gajes grows up on a farm and works at a fish auction in IJmuiden. After the death of a close friend, he shuts himself off from his family, friends and emotions. At work, he avoids his colleagues, taking refuge in silence. As pressure mounts from all sides, Gajes is forced to confront what he's kept buried for so long. Through bleak, melancholic imagery, the graduation film Mud Dance paints an intimate portrait of masculinity.
