Documentary about soccer pro Dirk Kuyt who, at the ripe age of 36, wants to play at all costs to make Feyenoord the national champions. It turns out to be a more than turbulent season.

Soccer pro Dirk Kuyt is 36 when he returns to Feyenoord after a stint abroad. Kuyt has only one goal: to make ‘his’ team national champions. In the season leading up to the championship, Kuyt is closely followed. He struggles with the burden on his shoulders, but also with his manager; Kuyt wants to get a place in the starting line-up at all costs. Classic epic tale in which ambition, belief, loneliness and the importance of family all play key roles - until the final match, when Kuyt gets the saviour’s role after all.
